CSF patrol units, working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, provincial police services, Canadian Forces liaison officers and Neighbourhood Watch, apprehend suspects during joint operations.
An authorised officer confirms the subject's full name, alias, residence and date of birth against identification or a witnessed statement before any entry is made.
Only verified particulars are published: photograph, residence, offence, exhibits recovered and the current status of the case. Records are withdrawn promptly when a person is cleared.
Each case carries a reference number and is tracked through custody, bail, transfer, court and disposition. Every change is written to an audit log with officer and timestamp.
Reports reach CSF control immediately and are reviewed by duty officers. In an emergency always contact the RCMP or your local police service first, then notify the CSF control room.
